HRH Samdech Krom Preah Norodom Ranariddh was born on 2nd of January 1944 in Phnom Penh.

HRH is married to HRH Princess Norodom Marie Ranariddh, former Ms. Marie Eng, their Royal Highnesses have three children,

        H.H  Prince Norodom Chakravuth (1970),

        H.H. Prince Norodom Sihariddh (1972),

        H.H. Princess Norodom Rattana Devi (1974).

Educational Background:

1979:           Diploma of Higher studies in Air Transport.

1974:           Ph.D. in Public Law.

1969:           Diploma of Higher studies in Public Law.

                        1968:           Bachelor Degree in Public Law, University of Aix-Marseille III, Aix-en-Provence, France.

Professional Experiences:

1979-Present:        Professor of Law :

+Teaching courses in French Administrative Law for the second and third year of the Diploma of Specialized Higher Studies in Territorial Administration.

+ In charge of tutorials in Constitutional Law.

+ Teaching courses in Political Sociology and in International Relations on the political regimes of the Far East and South East Asia.

+ Conducting Seminars on the political problems of contemporary Asia.

1976-1979:            Research Fellow, University of Law and Political Sciences, Aix-en-Provence, France.
